When you use VoltVx, we collect:
Account information: Name, email address, profile photo (via Google or Apple Sign-In).
Google Sign-In: VoltVx requests only the minimum scopes needed: email (to identify your account) and profile (to display your name and photo). We do not request access to your Google Drive, contacts, calendar, or any other Google services. Your Google password is never shared with VoltVx.
Content you create: Posts, photos, videos, comments, messages, reviews, and group activity.
Location data: GPS coordinates when you create posts, use Live Ride Tracker, or search nearby shops (only when you grant permission).
Device information: Device type, operating system, app version, and push notification tokens.
Usage data: Features used, interactions, and app performance metrics.
We use your information to:
• Provide and improve VoltVx services
• Show relevant content and nearby businesses
• Enable social features (follow, buddy, DM, groups)
• Send push notifications you've opted into
• Moderate content and enforce community guidelines
• Process in-app purchases (via Apple/Google — we do not store payment details)
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:
• With other users (your public profile, posts, reviews)
• With service providers (AWS for hosting, Firebase for notifications)
• When required by law or to protect safety
Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in the Asia-Pacific region. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
You have the right to:
• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for location tracking at any time
To delete your account, go to Settings → Delete Account within the app. Your data will be permanently removed after a 30-day grace period.
VoltVx is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
VoltVx uses the following third-party services:
• Google AdMob (advertising)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Apple/Google In-App Purchase (payments)
Each service has its own privacy policy governing data use.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email.
